Wraparound Care at Jenyns is managed by WASPS.

At Jenyns, we understand the need for reliability and safety for our working parents when providing Wraparound Care. WASPS have been providing wraparound care since 1999 and have been run by current owner Nicola since 2006. 

WASPS are hugely popular amongst our children/families and are also used by neighbouring educational settings: St Thomas of Canterbury, Roger de Clare, Ralph Sadlier and SPINS Nursery.

Breakfast Club:

Opens at 7:45am (7:30am if parents need us to!) Children are given a choice of cereal, toast and fruit juice for breakfast. After playing some games or catching up with friends and homework, they are taken to school for registration via minibus or car.

Fees are:

7:45am to 8:30am - £8.50 per child per session*.

7:30am to 8:30am - £10.50 per child per session*.

A discount is applied if more than one child attends from the same family*.

After School Club:

Opening times are 2:15pm to 6:15pm.

Children are collected from their schools or nursery and escorted to the Community Centre via Minibus or Car.

Fees are:

2:15pm to 3:15pm - £4.50*

3:15pm to 5:15pm - £14.00*

3:15pm to 6:15pm - £18.50 (light tea included)*

Play Scheme:

Opening times are 8:00am to 6:00pm. We operate on Mondays through to Fridays during February, Easter (2 weeks), Summer (3 weeks), and October Half Terms. Children will need to bring weather appropriate clothing as some activities are outside and messy! Activity timetables are released a few weeks in advanced. 

Fees are:

8:00am to 1:00pm - £15.00*

1:00pm to 6:00pm - £15.00*

8:00am to 6:00pm – £30.00*

Safeguarding - People you can trust

For children's safety we ensure that all staff have an enhanced DBS check and that they attend training courses in Safeguarding Children, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid.

Children are supervised at all times and are not allowed to leave the premises unless escorted by a named adult who signs the register on leaving.
