Our SHINE Values

Helping every child to SHINE

At our school, we believe that education is about so much more than academic achievement. We want every child to leave us as a confident, kind, resilient and ambitious individual who believes in themselves and is excited about their future.

Our SHINE values are at the heart of everything we do. They provide a shared language for our whole school community and help our children to understand the qualities and attitudes that enable them to succeed.

We encourage our children to SHINE every day – in their learning, in their friendships, when facing challenges and when making a difference to those around them.

At Jenyns we aim to ensure that:

• Each child is and feels valued for their individual contributions and that they develop a positive attitude towards everyone in the life of the school and community.
